We flew home to Charleston after an extended trip to Florida and decided to meet a friend a late lunch. It was hot as the devil out but we sat in the shade and had a nice breeze coming off of the water. The fried shrimp and slaw were fantastic. The portions are bigger than they look and for the price can’t be beat. I had to share because I couldn’t eat it all. My wife got the tacos and had nothing but great things to say about them. Always a great go to spot! After waiting to long we came back. Today we both got the “adult lunchbox” which includes two tacos, a side, and a beer. Like last time it was very tasty and fresh. My wife and I both agreed that the shrimp taco is only slightly better than the fish. The hush puppies may be the best I’ve had. Will not wait so long before our next visit.
We are from Phoenix and all of the staff treated us like we were their friends . Fresh catches inside and great cooked food outside. Shark bites are awesome. Highly recommend this if you are in the low country!
The staff was beyond knowledgeable. Freshest seafood around. Loved the takeout section with frozen items and dips/soups. We purchased clams and scallops to take home. Both were clean and tasted so fresh!
The food is delicious and obviously fresh. No need to go to a fancy seafood restaurant when you can get some of the best seafood in Charleston here. Also fun to watch the dolphins, birds, and boats pass by. Highly recommend, but time it right so it doesn’t take you an hour to get down Folly Road.
Best local seafood in the 843!! Fresh local shrimp, they got you! Fresh local fish ranging from grouper to the best tuna you can get, got you! Awesome shipped in options like halibut, THEY GOT YOU! check out the food truck out front with all the best seafood mentioned!!
Very friendly and helpful staff. The freshest seafood where the boats pull right up to the market. I went down to Charleston to visit my brother and for the first weekend of oyster season picked up a full cluster of oysters for 65 bucks at Crosby's. Can't beat it. I did stop at another fish market prior to this and the staff was just rude and seemed to cater more to their kayak rental customers than people that actually wanted to purchase fresh seafood. That place didn't even offer local oysters! I'm just guessing but I'm thinking the local fisherman didn't want to deal with them either. I was going to travel 10 hours with a full cluster of oysters and needed to keep them fresh for my private club that I work at. Crosby's expert staff advised me on how to best pack, travel and deliver the oysters. I can't thank them enough. True professionals are so helpful. Hell. I even cut my finger packing the oysters and they gave me a damn Band-Aid! Love these people, give them your business. They deserve it. And you do too.
Hello my Name is Fred. I visited Crosby's FishAnd Shrimp. And I'm going golfing back every Chance I get. The people were nice and friendly. They even gave me a shirt. I'm gonna wear it all over the Black Mountain area and brag on them when asked awsome place awsome people. 10 stars.
I had their fried fish burrito, with some tartar sauce, and it was delicious. This is a great place to stop by and grab lunch after a nice walk around Fort Lamar.
